Anatomy of Fascia & Practice of Myofascial Release

continuing education & 300hr YTT module

This 25-hour module offers an in-depth exploration of the fascial system and its role in movement, performance, and recovery. This training examines the structure, function, and mechanical properties of fascia, including its role in force transmission, proprioception, and tissue adaptability. You will learn practical myofascial release techniques and how to integrate them effectively into classes and programming. Through both study and application, this module develops a deeper understanding of tissue quality, nervous system response, and sustainable movement practices—equipping you with the knowledge and tools to support resilience, longevity, and more informed teaching.

Sequencing is the creative and structural art of teaching yoga. It’s how you take individual poses and weave them together into a cohesive, intelligent, and transformative experience. Through intelligent sequencing you have the opportunity to impact people’s functional movement patterns that carry into daily life, sport, and long-term physical resilience. You can access the nervous system, create deep functional strength, improve range of motion, and really teach people tools that impact their lives outside of your class.
