Fascia + Myofascial Release
Explore the fascial system through both science and practice, developing a deeper understanding of how fascia influences movement, force transmission, proprioception, recovery, and long-term tissue adaptability. This module combines education with practical application so you leave with tools you can immediately integrate into classes, client work, and personal practice.
Requirements
This module is open to yoga teachers, fitness professionals, bodyworkers, and movement practitioners with a foundational understanding of anatomy. If your work involves helping people move, recover, or perform, this training is designed to expand your knowledge and practical toolkit.
The Module Experience
Training days will blend lecture, discussion, movement practice, and hands-on application. You’ll explore fascial anatomy, tissue behavior, and nervous system response while learning practical myofascial release techniques and how to apply them effectively within movement programming, recovery practices, and teaching environments.
To complete the module you must perform one case study consisting of 2 hours of application and 1 hour for a small group presentation of your case and findings.
Credits/Hours/Application
This 25-hour module qualifies for Yoga Alliance continuing education hours and also counts toward completion of Seek Movement School’s 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Enrollment in the full 300-hour program is not required to participate.
